COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A deep ruby ale brewed with 15% oats, English pale malt and three kinds of crystal malt, this beer has body to spare. We serve it on nitro to let the rich creamy body really coat the mouth. With a hint of hop bitterness, a slightly roasted quality and a sweet finish, this beer will pair well with most food and be easy to drink without lacking in flavor. The oats add a rich body and slight notes of vanilla and dusty cereal grain.

Tap. Pours clear reddish, large creamy off white head, great lacing. Aroma is caramel, Bready, malty. Flavor is light plus sweet, minimal bitterness. Light plus body.

Nitro draft sample at the brewery. Clear copper color with a khaki head of tight bubbles. Almost non-existent aroma, maybe just a little malt. The flavor is very mild with some flat grain and light bitterness. Not bad just boring and kinda non-descript.

On nitro tap at Proper, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light oats and bready malt. Flavour is very restrained, with light oats and bready notes. Weak and pointless.

I really enjoyed this beer. A whole glass may be to sweet. Nose is smoke toasty. Head thick from nitro and sweet flavors linger this adds to the mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Avenues Proper. Clear amber pour with dense white. Smells kind of buttery and a lot of toasted breads, cracker, and biscuit. Really odd woody hop character. Slight vegetal note and some cracker. A little off overall. Kind of watery, too. Not their best.

Copper, clear, beige head. Bready malt with touch of toffee, light chocolate and biscuit, a hint of black cherry, balanced and drinkable.

Had on nitro draft at the brewery. This is very tasty. Dark stone fruit/black cherry in the aroma. There is a soft roasted/chocolate flavor followed by some caramel sweetness. Really interesting and very drinkable.

Toasty, caramel/sweet aroma and flavor. Subtle apple/black cherry fruit. Bready malt and moderate bitterness in aftertaste. (8/9/13)
