Light yet tasty, delicate aroma, great on a hot day for a mid bike ride break. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Bottled May, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy golden ale with a solid sheet of fine whites atop. Nose carries banana, some clove, a bit of honey, the elderflowers adverted on the label, some wood and belgian ale yeast, slightly sweet malts. Flavor is delicate and tasty with nice bread on biscuit malt, some bitterness, a little bit more elderflower, a slight sweetness from the yeast character and some other tones I just can’t quite get a handle on; maybe a touch of clove. Medium fluffy body with a fine low carb and a semi dry finish. A tasty beer, one I’d like to have again. That’s 2 for 2 for me from this brewery.

Bottle: The aroma consists of apple, floral notes, a touch of lemon, and herbal notes. It pours hazy golden-orange with a two finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with a question concerning dose of sweet fruit and apples. The finish has light floral, Iron peel, and faint herbal notes. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.
750, capped. Pours a cloudy medium gold with a dense and sudsy whitish head. Lots of lace. Big floral nose, lots of gently sweet nectar notes knocking around. Grass there as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, lemongrass, floral, herbal, and grassy notes on the mid palate. Mild herbal finish. Very pleasant. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 28, 2013
