hazy gold pour very effervescent. Aroma of tang, floral, slight herbs. Tastes big buttery saison yeast flavor that’s a little too strong. gushing fruit flavor granny smith some minerals. brett is pretty mild. some lemons. acidity creates the mouthfeel of chlorinated tapwater. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Bottle: Thanks, Kevin. Golden, wheaty appearance, cloudy & muddled, capped with a fizzly, bone-white foam that sets up shop as a chunky, porous collar. Smells like a botanical garden; patches of flowers & freshly mowed grass. Floral, garden-like. Elderflower? Some minty clove, likely ester contributions from the saison yeast. Funny enough, yeast is the first notable flavor when taking a sip. Bubblegum, bread, clove, very ester-driven & spicy. Still, a huge floral background. Wet flower stems, botanicals, dew-soaked grass clippings. Makes for a nice, floral saison, although maybe a little over the top, as the flowery notes can wear down the palate somewhat quickly. Unique. AmEricanbrew (7065) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Clear golden color with lasting white head. Herbal, berry fruit, floral (not hops but flowers), dusty earthy aromas. Light body with average carbonation. Nice lightly sweet, herbal berry fruit flavors with dusty pale maltage____good. FlacoAlto (4221) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - DEC 26, 2013
A steady pour into my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip produces a three finger thick, pale tan colored head. The beer is a rich amber color that shows a mostly clear, bright, yellow-gold hue when held up directly to the light. The aroma has an earthy, peppery, sort of grassy note that reminds me of other elderflower beers that I have had. The earthy note also plays up a cracker like and straw like pale malt character. There is also a substantial fruit character here in the aroma, softly citrus, perhaps a touch of pear, and other general, green, and ripe fruit notes. The musty notes and earthy character are substantially contributed by the fermentation character, as are the fruit notes, and even a touch of spiciness. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Effervescently carbonated, a bit prickly in the finish, and quite light bodied without being watery. Spicy, herbal, green floral, and perhaps a bit of that elderflower bell pepper character that balances a lightly cracker like malt character, and a finish that has a pear and perhaps floral grape character. Peppery notes, perhaps a touch of ginger, a bit of clove in the finish, and some spicy higher alcohols add a bit of bite to this beer. There is a touch of hop bitterness here, actually a tad more than a bit, but the beer still finishes with a bit of fruit character and a perceived sweetness.
This is nicely balanced, elder flower can get a bit overwhelming, but this manages to be held well in check so that the rest of the beer can be noticed.

Pours a slightly hazy golden ale with a solid sheet of fine whites atop. Nose carries banana, some clove, a bit of honey, the elderflowers adverted on the label, some wood and belgian ale yeast, slightly sweet malts. Flavor is delicate and tasty with nice bread on biscuit malt, some bitterness, a little bit more elderflower, a slight sweetness from the yeast character and some other tones I just can’t quite get a handle on; maybe a touch of clove. Medium fluffy body with a fine low carb and a semi dry finish. A tasty beer, one I’d like to have again. That’s 2 for 2 for me from this brewery.
Bottle courtesy of Andy at Paul’s housewarming 2013. Pours a golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is lemon, dusty wheat and grain. Mouthfeel is medium and nicely carbonated with light lemon, grain, wheat, yeast and nice dusty musk. Light herbal/floral character and somewhat earthy. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Bottle: Golden hued dark straw, very hazy, thin sudsy white head, decent lacing. Soft floral aroma, bright wheatiness, along with minor spices. Wheaty and grassy at first, with the soft floral notes. Flavorful, strong, but not sharp. Spices don’t translate onto the tongue as much as the nose suggested. Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate. Very wheaty finish, grassy, with faint floral notes. Clean, but its like some parts of it need to be more pronounced, mainly the spices and floral notes. Still tasty tho. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 15, 2013

Bottle: The aroma consists of apple, floral notes, a touch of lemon, and herbal notes. It pours hazy golden-orange with a two finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with a question concerning dose of sweet fruit and apples. The finish has light floral, Iron peel, and faint herbal notes. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.
(750ml bottle, courtesy of Mora2000) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of florals, yeast, and earth. Flavor of florals, nuts, pepper, spruce, light citrus, and yeast with a dry finish. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is full of floral notes with some wheat and yeast notes. The flavor is similar, but a bit more complex. I get some strong berry character as well as some floral notes, wheat, biscuit malt, yeast and pepper. As the beer warms there are also some strong herbal notes coming through. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice beer.
