Pours a a mellow orange amber color. Aromas of wheat, peppery, some spice. In the flavor there are hints of orange, something spicey, with a slight hoppy bitter finish. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - MAR 5, 2014
1/22/14. On tap at the brewpub. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Light breadiness on the aroma, rye bread, a hint of spice and sourdough, doughy, lightly sweet. Same on the flavor, rye spice, doughy, bready, some caramel aspects. Not bad, but somewhat weak/bland. DocJitsu (1972) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Pours a cloudy amber-golden color with a short, quickly dissipating off-white head. Tart honey nose. Smooth, full, creamy, and lightly scrubby mouthfeel. Sweet, well-blended rye and barley. Finishes cleanly. jbruner (4691) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 26, 2013
Version 2.0 on tap at brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy reddish brown on tap with thin ring of tan lacy head that sticks lightly. Aroma of bready malt, slight rye spiciness. Taste is pretty light, bready spicy malt and no real hint of the booze. The abv is the best part of the beer.
