Bottle from Sam’s quik shop - aroma is a little weird, reminds me of baklava short of, only no where as good.s. Taste is sweet with an oily finish. Overall, it’s not the worst I’ve had, but it’s by no means good. DiarmaidBHK (4891) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Bottle from Sam’s quick shop. Pours clear with a slight apple tint with no head and a thin fruity note on the nose. Very thin on the tongue. Getting a slight honey but has a weird herbal thing on the finish. Not impressed. Ernest (7694) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 29, 2007
Bottle. No head (still). Body is light amber. Aroma is notes of honey, peach/orange, sandalwood incense, alcohol. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, flat carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic, lightly astringent. Not too bad, surprisingly...was skeptical due to its low price ($10 for a 750) and its origin (not to mention the winery is called a "factory"). Something about that incense note in the nose seems off (borderline plasticky/chemically, or perhaps a higher alcohol), and the aroma isn’t very complex overall, but that’s the only real complaint. Nice legs. There’s certainly much better out there, but trust me, there is much worse too.
