Ok. Definitely malty but the flavor seemed a little watered down. Wasn't overly impressed. I've had better dunkels.

From 12 oz bottle into pint glass
Pours a thin beige head that disappears rapidly with no lacing. Color is dark amber with little to no streaming carbonation. Aroma of roasty malts and bread dough rising. Mouthfeel is light to medium and finish is somewhat damp. Flavors of char, dark toast, dark chocolate, some sort of ripe fruit and bittering hops. Very enjoyable. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 2, 2017
Cloudy reddish brown. Smooth flavor and body, otherwise pretty unremarkable. Slight yeast and fruit on the nose and tongue, a little bread and sweetness. RSRIZZO (2034) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 4, 2016
12oz can poured into a Lager Glass at 41°. Color is a deep brown with a hint of red and light carbonation and a thin off white head. Aroma is a mellow roasted malt scent. It has a lighter medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor is light giving a mild roasted malt and a hint of toffee with a very mellow bitterness. After taste is clean and slightly dry. Overall its a nice little brew, very easy drinking but a little light on the flavor. KyotoLefty (10809) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 1, 2016
Tap at the brewery. Brown with orange tints. Clear, with a low head. Light chocolate nose, caramel, bread. Light malty sweetness, bready, with chocolate and caramel, raisins. Not overly sweet. Decent stuff. scooterbub (1068) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JUL 31, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a thin beige head that lasts. Taste is of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, wood, bourbon and vanilla. Similar aroma. Has a smooth, velvety body with a warming finish. Quite excellent

Aroma is malts, fruit and bread/brown bread. The flavor is brown bread, fruit, slight tobacco, very slightly chemical and a mildly/smooth finish. DYCSoccer17 (3714) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 15, 2016
12 ounce bottle from a 6 pack purchased at a beer store in COS. The aroma on this is great. Some floral, some leather, and some licorice. Light roast, too. Transparent light mahogany color with a medium light tan head present. Starts with a sweet, cocoa like maltiness, but not too sweet. Light roasts in the middle. Finishes with a bit of a tannic character, but really chewy, malty, and good. SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2015
another style i’m not crazy about, on tap at the brewpub with my crew .. . dark mahogany .. medium foam .. bread crust, bark, sweet toast .. . balanced, a good dunkel .. . . who’s trying to put you in a box? have you contacted the police about this? 12 oz. bottle. Dark, amber brown, with a small, foamy, beige head. Aroma is dark bread, pumpernickel, light cloves, caramel, and a hint of sweet cherries. Sweet and malty, with a light, piney, hop kick. Light to medium body, a little chalky, syrupy, and a clingy, bitter aftertaste. This is a a surprisingly complex, aromatic, and tasty dunkel. Good maltiness and yeast character. kevinator (2867) - The Colony, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Very traditional. Flavors were bold and malty. Aroma was a little light but the flavor was biscuity and slightly dry and earthy. Soft brown color with a full body and nice head.
