Pour on tap at the brewery, clear golden pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of slight corn, grain into a bit of biscuit, touch of yeast into a bit of bread, some slight cereal, hints of grassy hops. Taste was a mix of grass, herbal, floral notes into a bit of yeast, slight bisuit and bread, finishing sweet, slightly dry. Marheb (5717) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 31, 2015
(Bue en fût sur place): Un brin fromagé avec une légère croûte florale. Plus près d’une pils czech que d’une kolsch. onceblind (9418) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2014
Crystal clear light gold under a thin sticky foamy head. The aroma is like a biscuity macro lager but with a cheeky fruit ester. The fruit ester plays a large role on the flavor with a hefty blonde grain and light golden toast flavor as well. Quaffable and grainy and fruity. Very delicate and nice. daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 31, 2014
Gold pour, white head. Nice drinking Kolsch. Lightly grassy, some spent grain, maybe a hint of corn. Enjoyable. Fun brewery to visit. GABF brewtour thanks to MLunger! ajnepple (6428) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 22, 2014
On tap at Prost. Pale, gold and clear with a white head and light lacing. Mild aroma of light sweet malts, light bitter hops and light fruit. Similar flavor, light body, crisp and clean.

Draft. Aroma of detergent, calcium, egg shells / sulfur, mild lemon, faint cracker / pale malt. Medium body, lightly sweet, low bitterness, medium acidity. Chalk, silt, corn syrup, mild DMS concrete mix minerality. Creamy carbonation but husky malt. Simple pale malt finish. Lacks the ester profile of Kolsch and seems closest to Helles / pale lager. Off-notes are milder than I’ve found in Prost’s early batches. Pretty basic overall. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 24, 2014
On tap at The Kitchen. Pour is clear golden with a big frothy white head. Corn, sweet biscuit, grassy, minerally, slightly chalky, honey, and grainy aroma. Taste is sweet dough, grass, biscuit, cereal, somewhat earthy, minerals, and corn with a sweet finish. Light body with high carbonation. Clean and easy drinking. Decent stuff. Pint at Highland Tavern. I am not a kolsch fan at all, but let me say this is the best I have had. It’s immaculately clean and perfectly balanced. The aroma is light, doughy and crackery with faint grassy notes. Very clean body, light bready notes and corn husks. The finish is quick. This paired very well with the tater tots. It’s a lot of work to make this style with not a lot of reward, but Prost seems to do it better than most. anders37 (26194) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2013
