Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The malts are the dominant character in this beer, as it should be. The malts are slightly sweet, some graininess, hint of caramel.

Oktoberfest beers are the best and Prost Brewing got this one right. Lots of malty sweetness lightly hopped smooth easy drinking, would recommend.

drpimento (3366) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 30, 2016
Somehow I’d expected more out of this, but it ended up being fairly bland. It’s just not too much or too little of Anything. Yawn.

Draft. Amber body with a short, frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, light caramel, cookie. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Malty, sweet taste. Syrupy.

Skinnyviking (9243) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2016
Draught at the brewery. Low but lasting fluffy white head. Clear amber red body. Mild but solid malt based aroma and flavor with some caramel and yet the bitterness comes through although there is not much of it. Low carbonation, short finish.

crossovert (12076) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 24, 2016
355ml bottle. Amber/Orange in color. Aroma is lagery, almost like lake breeze, sulphury, under that is very earthy caramel malt. Falvor isn’t as intense, it has some citrus, herbs, earhty malt, caramel, pretty delicate, hint of brine in the finish. Decent.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-copper body, thin off-white non-head. Medium bodied, fairly true to style, but leans into the amber malt a little more than most American examples, less hop tones as well. Still a pretty enjoyable, fresh. OK.
