On draught at Violas in Kyiv. Pours a dense gold, well-carbonated, big wheaty flavor, light body, slight tart character, banana character, dry finish.

DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2008
Cask at Weatherspoons, Angel, London. Nose has faint hints of wheat and spice but as said quite faint. Pours a golden amber beer with a large head. taste is very thin and watery, bot the best Hefe I’ve had.

downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2007
500ml bottle from Tescos. A good attempt at a German wheat beer style. Cloudy gold colour with a big, off-white head. The usual aromas of banana, cloves and yeast. The flavours were the same with some lemon as well. Good.

500ml Bottle at the Miles Thompson, Kendal 24/03/2007 Some spiced aroma. Large white head. Pale golden coloured and cloudy in appearance. Lively carbonation. Hoppy and smooth on the palate with some dryness and spiced wheat flavours in a crisp finish.

lgklotet (432) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 19, 2007
Bottle at Brygghuset, Vimmerby. Huge head, as can be expected. Aroma is in no way subtle, lots of wheat - but unfortunately reminds me of 1664’s horrible shot at the style.. Very artificial and soapy tasting. Glad I won’t have to drink this again.

beervis (243) - Taylor’s Country, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2007
Bottle. Some banana and spice in the nose, pours cloudy gold with big head and good spritzy carbonation. Quite lemony, sour wheatiness. Mouthfeel a bit thin. Aftertaste a bit murky. Not bad, but missing something.

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 19, 2007
Bottle, pours a cloudy pale, but bright, gold with a bubbly fizzy head. A strong wheatty aroma with bananas, berries and some spice. At first deliciously effervescent and citric, but then more ash-malt towards a disappointingly dirty finish.

Thanks to Duff for bringing back. This 2003 edition expires remarkably in October 2007. A beigish tinge with a good initial head. I am divided on the aroma, it is a bit sour and wheaty, and there is a bit of lace on the way down. It is a good carbonation and drinkable, with some creaminess in the mouth.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 19, 2007
(Bottled) Opaque yellow-golden with a smallish head. Fresh banana-strawberry aroma. Very clean, almost boring, banana-fruity flavor with a slightly acidic finish. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky and foamy palate. Quite refreshing, but not very complex.

cgarvieuk (25693) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 10, 2007
Slightly clowded yellow, typical citrus wheat nose, and typical rounded light fruity wheat flavour.
