Bottle from Tesco. Very pale yellow, hazy, with a thick white head. Flavour is mucho, mucho disappointing. Weak banana and vanilla ice cream, but lacks thickness or smooth cream. Too wishy washy for a Hefe.

Overreaching, fluffy dirty-white head over golden beer with greenish shine. Yeast is difficult to pry loose. Typical wheat & cloves nose. Sweet bread with cloves and a faint fruity background. Rather flat taste, light sweetness. Some bready notes, cloves and some light dough, from roots - like maniok paste or similar. Finish is a tad bittery, orange-peel like. Very light, watery texture, and nearly empty palate. Multi award-winning beer. Makes one wonder about the competition.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2006 By Jove! A splendid wheatbeer. I had been drinking others, but they dont come close. Distinguished, to be sure. No doubts here.

Best Ukrainian wheat beer. Genuine taste. Colour and head are fantastic. Reminds me about Germany.

Bottle, from Tesco (thanks maeib), August 2005. This wheat beer, from the rather unpromisingly named "beverage plant" has been garnering a lot of plaudits. Its easy to see why, as Ukraine isnt exactly renowned for its wheat beers. Clearly German styled and, whilst in Ukrainian terms it may be spectacular, compared to the genuine German article its decent but nothing outstanding. It has an authentic banana ester aroma, maybe with a slightly sweet, jammy, feeling. On the palate theres a pleasing citric edge coming through to provide balance and prevent it becoming flabby. Id certainly drink this again, but I was hardly knocked out.

Bottle. Pale and slightly cloudy beer with a foamy, frothy and white head. The aroma is lighlty spiced and the flavour is banana bubble gum. Overall an average wheat beer.

Weissbier. Light cloudy gold, fluffy head that faded. Slight hint of cinnamon in the aroma. Gassy. Metallic tinge. Strong banana tone. Wheat. Not great, too metally a taste.

Bottle. Golden color with a small white head. Sweet yeasty and wheaty body with fruity notes with emphasis on banana.

Clody golden colour. Thick long lasting head. Lots of bananas in the aroma, hints of hops too. Flavor of bananas and cloves. A little thin in the aftertaste. It is a little watery. But better than many of the german ones.
