I had a 4oz sample of this beer at the 2012 Frederick Beer Festival. It had a cloudy amber-rust color with some sediment and a small, foamy white head with short retention and cling, and a bit of lacing. The aroma featured citrus hops and yeast, along with a candy and sugar blend. The taste was sweet and light candy with some caramel, and a light touch of grainy bitterness. It was a wet and thinner beer with low carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel and finish. mcdoug (31) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Characteristic fruity belgian aroma. Medium gold color. Medium lacing. Fizzy palate. Sweetish w slight papery taste. Very pleasant finish. scottw86 (1178) - Maryland, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Bottle. Poured a very hazy orange color with a nice large white foamy head. Aroma has very nice yeast notes with lots of orange and a touch of spices. Smells a little bit closer to a wheat beer. Taste has a touch of corn with more oranges. Some creamy yeast flavors with some bananas and cream. A decent amount of hops balances everything out. Taste is not quite as good as the aroma. Overall very nice and creative.
