Can. Amber colour and decent white head. Grains, caramel and a metallic aroma. Some harsh bitter at the finish. Not that good, BrewWhatIWant (263) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 22, 2017
Pours amber with a thick cream coloured head. Aroma is fruity and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet with a rather bitter finish. The base has a very English malt quality, bread and toffee. There are also notes of grassy, floral hops and citrus. The finish is strongly bitter, like an IPA but not a little more balanced by the maltiness. Body is light and carbonation is medium-low. I’ve had this beer several times before, as the brewery is minutes from my door, but I always feel like the malt and hops are battling it out and the beer is lesser because of it. It should just decide whether it wants to be an English bitter or an IPA. pintbypint (3733) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 19, 2017

473ml can from the brewery. 5.5% alc/vol. Pours a hazy light amber colour with one finger of head. Lacing clinging to the side of the glass. Floral aroma with notes of caramel. Hoppy flavours are pronounced. Notes of caramel in the front and finishes, bitter, dry and spicy. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
