Pours black with a short lived beige head. Aroma is roasted malt. Taste is quite balanced between bitter and sweet. There are notes of roasted malt, coffee, some burnt flavours and a touch of chocolate. Medium bodied and low-medium carbonation. The burnt flavours are a little too strong but overall it is very good. RhetoricalAns (939) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 9, 2015
Dark pour, brown head that dissipates to thin film. Typical chocolate and coffee aroma, heavier on the coffee, some earthiness. Taste is nice and balance, heavy dark malt up front with a good hop finish. crazy_cat_lady (660) - - APR 27, 2015
