Using Nobel hops our brewer has created a well balanced beer with a nice golden color and a crisp dry finish. Light in color, this pilsner is brewed in the classic Bohemian style.

Draught. Pours clear yellow with a small, fizzy, white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, grain, meal), light hops (herbs), average yeast (dough) with notes of butter and paper. Light bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Tap at brewery. Clear light golden yellow appearance with a medium sized ligh colored head. Very good pale malty Pils aroma. Tasty, malty Pils body that’s bitter but not as much as a Bohemian Pilsner. Good beer.

onceblind (10290) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 1, 2011
Transparent straw yellow, no head, aroma of buttery biscuits and light corn. Taste had some more corn, like a corn tortilla, with light wheat tones. Uncomplex and untasty.

arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Pour on tap is clear yellow with fizzy white head, aroma brings notes of some slight cereal and lemon notes, some very slight grass. Taste is pretty watery, but slight notes of grain, grass and slight cereal and hay notes in there.

3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 19, 2010
clear light yellow. rough malt, minerallic, husky, astringent texture with a thin body. mostly neutral nose of medium- sweet corn and pils malt. fizzy, astringent, transparently hoppy (medium+ bitterness but little hop flavor). disappointing.

From the Jug at the GABF Colorado Convention Center, Denver 11/10/2008 Floral hop aroma. Clear golden coloured and smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Ernest (7786) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2013 Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with light notes of lime zest and soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Surprisingly good from this brewery...bright floral hop nose and pretty clean. A little watery/flabby/sweet in the mouth, so needs improvement in that department...but overall pretty good stuff. Wish it was lower ABV too, 5.8% is pretty much bock strength, this could be a repeat purchase at 4.8% with a crisper finish.
