Draught @ Pump House Brewery, Moncton, NB: Amber pour, good sized head. Aroma is very hoppy, smells promising. Bitter! Very spicy with floral and citrus hops. Malty toffee hop bomb. Love it.

Got the SPCA IPA 2015 bottle : Veiled dark amber color with low activity. Frothy and foamy white 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with generous legs. Flavors of pineapples, orange, lemon, butter, faint pine, roasted grains, floral and herbal spices. Mostly sugary with a faint dash of bitterness. Slick and smooth medium body with the perfect amount of zesty carbonation. Medium strength finish, with lingering piney and grassy hops. Overall good quality craft. Tasty flavors, well balanced, good freshness. A little faint, yet an accessible IPA. Very typical and nothing really special.

Rating #1729 - 2015.06.05 - Sample at @yegbeerfest. Clear amber pour with little head to speak of, an agressive pour yielded no more than a weak fizz on the top of this gem. Aroma is mild citrus (grapefruit) with a spicy note in the generous hop overtones. Taste is thoroughly dry, decent bitterness, with a lingering citrusy sweetness and a faint hint of malt.

Cloudy with orange hued dark amber color. Very good head; recedes in a rocky fashion, leaving plenty of streaky lace. Excellent fresh hop aroma. Floral. Peppery hop bite (perfect for the hot wings I’m having). Good body with a predictable carbonation. Pale malt base belies the darker color. Long aftertaste, not as fresh as I had hoped.

341ml brown bottle. Cloudy orange colour. Good creamy white head, sticky lacing. Nose has light citrus and caramel malts. Taste has caramel malts, a little nutty and very little hopping. Faint bitterness at the end. Too malty for me.

AgentAle (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 26, 2014
Aroma is toffee, caramel, clove brown sugar and mineral rich water. Taste is a roast and sweet malt profile balanced well with a somewhat basic bitterness. Appearance is faintly foggy orange /copper with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

MiloC (27) - - SEP 9, 2014
Very malt forward beer with subtle hop aroma. No faults, but not what I was expecting for an IPA, which should be drier and hoppier than this version. Too much Crystal malt. Okay, but not great by any means.

It’s...an okay beer. I would very happily take this over any lager swill any day but not sure I would ever buy it again. It’s a clear orange-amber with a thin head. Smell is of caramel, resiny hops and corn. Just not too much going on, not unenjoyable but there are so many IPAs out there now you need to stand out with some feature of your beer. A decently solid brew from a solid brewery.

Hazy golden color. Aroma of mixed summer fruit. Taste is fruity and balanced. Easy drinking.
