COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An amber-colored beer with an aroma that is slightly sweet, yet with a hint of Columbus hops in the background. The taste shows off the maple character, as the beer is allowed to age upon an ample quantity of pure maple syrup, sourced from locally tapped sugar maple trees. Previous version was 6% abv.

On tap at the brewpub. Brown amber colour with a fully lasting frothy and creamy tan head. Light maple and vanilla aroma with notes of caramel malt and woody and earthy hops. Light touches of smoky maple and vanilla flavours over a toasty and grainy malt base, with a dry woody finish. Medium bodied, creamy but dry mouthfeel. I’d have pegged the base beer as a lager despite the name. An interesting lager, too, made even better with the maple syrup addition.
