This lager poured a clear medium amber colour with a big, beautiful, off white head. Thick creamy head with nice lacing. To the nose there are scents of sweet malts, toast, light grassy hops and very, very faint vinegar. First sip was slightly watery with flavours of malt and porridge. Finish was thin though with very slight hop flavour ontop of a whopping malt.
January 21, 2014 - with blankboy, jercraigs & mabel - 473ml can. Gold - oily looking refractive and clear, smallish bubbly white head. Yep - "premium" lager aroma - some alcohol, oily grain, apple and grass. Taste is simple honey ’n heather - solid, clean. Average body, chewy, decent carbonation, finishes quick and dry. Not bad! Bright dark straw, almost gold color, with some powerful activity. White 2 finger head with good retention that last for 5 to 10 minutes, with a nice amount of legs.
Aromas of sweet grains and burnt sugar with a faint floral and lemony feel. Flavors of zesty citrus, roasted malt, faint caramel, floral and herbal spices. A little grassy and quite floral. Nice sweetness and great sharpness.
Slick medium body with super prickly carbonation. Light and short finish, ending with a sugary roasted malt feel, faint noble spices, and hint of lemon lingering on the tongue.
Overall a very good quality craft. Good flavors and very refreshing, while the carbonation is a little excessive. Good balance but feels a little light. At last, a good lager! No adjunct feel, the way a real lager should always taste. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 3, 2016
Can purchased at the brewpub. Nice dark golden colour with a thin white head that sticks around. Aroma is on the sweet side - sugary cereal grain with hint of corn, although the can indicates it’s an all-malt beer. A slight herbal note to indicate there are some hops, but sweetness dominates. The flavour has a bit more balance to it - still too sweet and grainy for my personal taste, but a hit of herbal and grassy hops in the finish. Sticky on the palate. All in all - average, and not especially "Premium". cards04 (2793) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 22, 2016
Pours a dark golden. Aromas of corn and toasted grain. Similar flavours with some sweetness and nice bitterness. Decent for a pale lager. northropfrye (3593) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 20, 2016
Clear yellow, slightly orange body, lots of bubbles, fizzy white head. Very sweet grain aroma. Taste is also far to the sweet side. Not hop balance noticeable. Still is has flavour and is pleasant enough.

Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, floral. Flavour is fruit, malt, floral, butterscotsch. Medium body. Boring beer. BrewGoblin (632) - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - SEP 4, 2014
I find this pretty fantastic for a style I don’t normally give a rat’s ass about. This beer, clear and amber with a thing head, tastes more like something that would come from Europe than most bland Pale Lagers around. It smells of sweet hay and light toast. There is a little straw and honey it the taste and as it is quite crisp but not overly carbonated it makes for a refreshing pour. Cheers Pump House!
