(On tap) Clear deep ruby with thin white head. Subtle aroma of toffee. Medium body with gentle carbonation. Taste starts with gentle fruitiness - prunes and apples - and quickly develops a rich toffee taste which evolves into burnt toffee. Pleasant enough but not special.

Tasted 10/1/2017. Draught at The Pump Room, Clarke Quay, Singapore. Poured a translucent copper colour with an off-white to light tan collar that didn’t lace. Carbonation nil. Aroma of sweet caramel, a bit sugary plus hints of wood. Taste strongly of smoke, is slightly sweet and with low bitterness. Light body. Smooth with a lingering strong smoke finish. Draft at Pump House, Singapore. Clear brown with a light tan head. Aroma of caramel, malt toffee and a little overripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a sweet caramel malt, light floral metallic hop bitter palate. Reddish brown. White ring head. Light lacing. Caramel aroma with caramel, vanilla and oaky taste. Little bit of whiskey in the taste too almost like thia is barrel aged.
