Thin, beige-colored head on draught pour in bar/water glass. No discernible aroma on the nose, or lacing on the glass. Light carbonation, some roasted nut flavor, but overall underwhelming and forgettable.

(On tap) Clear deep ruby with thin white head. Subtle aroma of toffee. Medium body with gentle carbonation. Taste starts with gentle fruitiness - prunes and apples - and quickly develops a rich toffee taste which evolves into burnt toffee. Pleasant enough but not special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, fruits, toffee, lightly roasted malt, chocolate and has a nice bitter finish.

Draft - Dark and sweet malts. Cloudy brown with a small white head. Soft and sweet dark malts with some nice caramel. Decent.

Tasted 10/1/2017. Draught at The Pump Room, Clarke Quay, Singapore. Poured a translucent copper colour with an off-white to light tan collar that didn’t lace. Carbonation nil. Aroma of sweet caramel, a bit sugary plus hints of wood. Taste strongly of smoke, is slightly sweet and with low bitterness. Light body. Smooth with a lingering strong smoke finish. Tasty.

Draft at Pump House, Singapore. Clear brown with a light tan head. Aroma of caramel, malt toffee and a little overripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a sweet caramel malt, light floral metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I seriously struggle to believe some of the earlier reviews. This was a fine ale indeed.

*Nice sweetish beginning. Easy to drink with sticky roasted hints. Fresh but a bit weak. Nice though.

Red brown with beige grey head. Aroma is creamy. Taste is sweet creamy with some toasted malt bitterness emerging a hint of caramel. Middle of the road

kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Reddish brown. White ring head. Light lacing. Caramel aroma with caramel, vanilla and oaky taste. Little bit of whiskey in the taste too almost like thia is barrel aged.
