Draught. Good pungent hop resin aromas, very pine-heavy with grapefruit notes. Clear gold with a thin white head. Mild bitterness, subpar hop flavor and a solid malt backbone. Nice dryness and no lingering astringency, just enough to give some bite. Crisp, snappy mouthfeel with a dry finish. notalush (5875) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2009
Tap at the brewpub - hazy orange, with good head retention - a fairly standard brewpub IPA, with plenty of resiny hop bitterness to keep fans of the style happy - a fair bit of caramel malt sweetness to keep it from being overly bitter - there is a touch of DMS/vegetal character, but the hops do a good job of hiding it - flawed, but drinkable. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2009
