As "Red Alert Amber" at 5.7& ABV and 24 IBU.
Clear brown color, tan head. Sweet, malt, roasted, taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.
Sample at the brewery. Medium high fluffy white lasting head. Hazy red body. Cocoa caramel fruity sweet aroma andf flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.

Draught. Dark amber/red. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, caramel), lightly hoppy (citrus - grapefruit, resin). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Rudimentary amber ale, but striking red color (befitting the theme of this brewpub). On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Clear amber copper with a wispy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet and toasty caramel malt. Body starts about average and quite drinkable with a touch of sweet caramel malt and grapefruity hops toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. A decent amber. On tap at the brewery. Comes a somewhat hazy reddish brown with an average beige head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, and dark fruit. Decent Amber Ale.
