This was one of the best beers that pumphouse produced to me it was a nice caramel flavor. jb43 (1695) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 19, 2011
(growler 5/13/11). Clear amber color. Medium off white head. Moderate sweeet caramel and toast/malt aroma. Flavor of the same. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - DEC 30, 2002
Clear, with a copper hue and a fire truck shine. Frothy head with tightly packed white bubbles. Extremely sweet-smelling nose. Soft, smooth, and very creamy texture. Malts are thick: caramel sweetness with a chewy malleability, hinted with toffee and chocolate. Desert-like in a way. Unfiltered version: Low carb., smooth, nutty, with burnt-wood flavors along with a hint of smoke. Very subtle sweetness. Somewhat of a dryish finish, most likely from the hops. Thick and decently bodied. gnoff (11145) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 11, 2012
Draught at the brewery, on October 10, 2012harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 9, 2006
As "Red Alert Amber" at 5.7& ABV and 24 IBU.
Clear brown color, tan head. Sweet, malt, roasted, taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.
Kind of had a sweet yet creamy fruity sweet kool aid thing going on in the flavor. Rich and malty, with alot of chocolate and caramel roastiness. Interesting and somewhat enjoyable, but not something I would seek out to try again.

On tap at the brewpub on 10/14/07: Clear amber copper with a wispy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet and toasty caramel malt. Body starts about average and quite drinkable with a touch of sweet caramel malt and grapefruity hops toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. A decent amber. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - NOV 1, 2007
Tap @ Pumphouse: Poured a clear red copper color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was malty with some sweetness. Toasty caramel notes. The malty flavor had a little roast to it. Hints of chocolate and citrus. Semi-dry and bitter finish. Medium body. That1Guy (2240) - Colorado, USA - JAN 24, 2009
Crushed with Jakebra at the brewpub. Sweet malt nose. Lots of sweetness. Definite initial hop bitterness that mellows into a very pleasant malt sweetness. One of the most appealing ambers I’ve ever had. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2009
