Copper ale with a decent white head. Zest and grapefruits on the nose and in the mouth. Heavy hops and a good drinker! Nice with curries!

Bottle from Asda. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is light caramel malt, light fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry malt, light metallic, pepper spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Drunk fresh. A fine session ale.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Malt almost seems to have a fruity funk to it, which is bizarre. Followed up by a dry aftertaste, which makes it even weirder. Wish I’d checked the date on my bottle as it could well have been gone off. Either way, as a sipping beer I enjoyed it, past it’s best or otherwise! :D

Grassy hops and a touch of sweet malt on the aroma, crisp flavour, with a light bitterness on the finish

Copper colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have an abundance of floral hops. Nice malty background. Decent body.

Bronze, clear with creamy head. Hoppy caramel in the aroma. Really dry hoppiness growing in the aftertaste.

This is a nice pale ale. Not much aroma - what I can detect is lightly leathery and floral. It has a golden colour, slightly darker than the classic pale ale, but clear with decent carbonation. It tastes a little stronger than its 4.2%, with medium bitterness but a fair whack of hops. Bit salty with good length. Overall, this is a good beer and certainly above average in the modern pale ale department

Pots cooper/amber. Moderate fizz though my bottle tried to gush. Initial hit of hops, as others had said, quite IPA like. Nice light maltiness and good balance. A fine modern style pale ale.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Light malt aroma. Malt and light floral flavor. Medium bodied. Floral and malt linger with light caramel.

Bottle. Bronze with a small head. Pleasant very fresh hoppy flavour.. Citrus is there as well. Have recently tasted beers claiming to be IPA’s which have far fewer hops than this. No matter how you classify this it is a classy beer.
