With the brewers sitting a few feet away I decided to give this a shot. A solid golden ale is good on cask and was just as nice bottled. I wish I would have been able to try a few more before time ran out on the trip to the UK.
Aroma / Appearance - A coppery transparent base retains a little fringe of whiteness. Caramel, cheap waxy chocolate, and cold chestnuts balance well.
Flavor / Palate - Chestnuts, coffee creamer, and a soft maltiness emerge almost immediately after taking a slow sip. The next few are much quicker as this beer blossoms on the palate. The nutty finish adds some character and means that unlike some pub clips I actually can remember the name a few weeks later.
Cask at the one crown . Hazy Orange. Persistent white creamy head. Think I got the dregs of the cask. Meaty mouth feel. Vague citrus and caramel bready

Very drinkable pale ale with mellow citrusy hops and, agreed, a hint of marmalade tartiness.

Cask @ Oakford Social Club. Mid gold, tight head. Marmalade aroma, some more in the first taste. Bitter, slightly tart (but in a good way), orangey citrus lingering bitterness. Not as hoppy as I was hoping, but very drinkable. gruberm (358) - - JUN 18, 2013
Nice easy beer with a soft hoppy flavor that mellows as it warms slightly. Pretty safe and standard IPA.

Cask - good, pale ale, though quite sweet. The bitterness grows slowly to a good level by the end. Decent. dogbomb (1257) - ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2013
Cask. Golden clear ale with a thick light tan head. Nose is hoppy and spicy with lemon, grapefruit and a hint of honey in the hop. Hoppy in the mouth with an instant bitter bang of lemon, grapefruit, grapes and tangerine - becomes malty and sweet as it moves over the tongue and then the finish is unexpectedly spicy with some woodiness and tea-like qualities. Decent.
