Bottle from Connolly’s wines, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a broken white head. The aroma is of toffee and it just hits you the moment you smell it. The flavour is medium bitter, with a hint of grapefruit, slightly floral and with a smooth palate. This really is a lovely and very drinkable session beer. One thing that annoys me about Purity above anything else is that they only brew their three regular beers and no specials. Their standard ales are so good that it’s sad they don’t give us something special to look forward to every once in a while. I’d love to see what they were capable of. , kirkburton. Hazy gold colour. Small fruit aroma. Taste is of mild grapefruit and bitter with a sourish aftertaste. An ok bitter but not one of the best purity brews.
On tap @ the Haymarket Bar. Pours golden as expected with a nice frothy head. The nose has a creamy meadowsweet note and the taste confirms this and in fact there is a note that approaches custard. The palate is light to medium in structure and texture with a zingy finish. Overall, nice ale. mr_h (5839) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - SEP 8, 2012

Cask at GBBF, 7/8/12. Clear, light gold. Grainy tasting pale malt. Slightly herby hops, but not much in the way of hops. Mostly cereally taste, fairly clean. Light body. Faint floral aroma. MustangMarkF (253) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2012
500ml Bottle. Aroma is hoppy and slightly citrusy. It pours averagely well and Is a golden colour with a medium quality and lasting head. Taste wise its quite a decent drink, hops, giving way to a slight citrus aftertaste. Its main problem is that its not a session beer and its not a feature beer either. Theres nothing wrong with it at all - but I could recommend better feature beers too. StueyD (1586) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2012
Pale golden yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. Very light citrusy aroma, lemony and some sweetness. Dry mouthfeel. Dry malt flavour to start then a lift lemony citrus fruit hop flavour comes through. The finish is weak. Tasted at the Wellington, Birmingham.
