Spicy bitter with a decent body and some new age hops mixed in with older ones. Regreashing and quafable with a little twist

Bottle from local Waitrose supermarket. Fun branding, great appearance on shelf. Starts bright, malty after taste. Pleasing bitterness. An easy drinking amber.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Dark orange in colour, light head, great taste, went down very well. Discovered it at the Chesford Grange in Kenilworth, Warwick. Now one of my favourites.

Pyobon (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2017
(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with good head. Lovely aroma with caramel and floral notes. Light body with medium carbonation. Ice taste - light toffee malt with nice fruity notes and some pleasant gentle bitterness in finish. Very drinkable.

Clear orange, red beer, standard carbonation, small white head. At nose some floral and caramel notes, but it doesn't have any other characteristics. At palate light medium body, rather sweet flavor and slight bitterness at the end with a watery aftertaste.

Fruity malt smell. Nice bitterness in first taste with roasted malt finish and aftertaste. Is tasty well balanced amber ale not too fizzy from bottle could do with slightly more malt body

3.3
Delirium (670) - Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2017
Bottle. Pours amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is grass, citrus, caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with a bitter, hoppy finish, and a bit of straw. Somewhat acidic. Reminds me an American-style amber ale more than anything, probably because of the Cascade hops. Pretty decent.

Amber in colour. Nice bitterness to it. With a slight malty sweetness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2017 Nice beer, initially a little sharp, but that’s because I had chilled it. It’s probably best served a little under room temperature. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
