Fruity malt smell. Nice bitterness in first taste with roasted malt finish and aftertaste. Is tasty well balanced amber ale not too fizzy from bottle could do with slightly more malt body

Bottle. Pours amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is grass, citrus, caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with a bitter, hoppy finish, and a bit of straw. Somewhat acidic. Reminds me an American-style amber ale more than anything, probably because of the Cascade hops. Pretty decent.

Amber in colour. Nice bitterness to it. With a slight malty sweetness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2017 Nice beer, initially a little sharp, but that’s because I had chilled it. It’s probably best served a little under room temperature. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at The Swan, Broadway. Pours clear dark amber with moderate white head that dissipates. No carbonation. Aroma is subtle but pleasant, citrus and pineapple. Taste is well balanced between malt and hop. Even bitterness across palate but not over the top. Some malt sweetness balances the hops. Slightly thin in body but not really watery as some low abv ales can be. Overall a reasonable session English Amber ale.

Love this beer and the fact that it is locally brewed is just an additional bonus.
