500ml bottle kindly provided by djoeye. A lasting beige bubbly head. Black body with a rustic tint. Dotted spots on the glass. Roasted dark malty aroma, mid-sweet. Blended taste of toffee, liquorice and moments of dark fruits. Roasted malty bitter ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Tromsø 22.07.2017).

(Keg at T-Anker, 20160612)The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, caramel and cocoa. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, grass, ash, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A very tasty schwarz. On draft at the brewery tap. Dark, caramelled, chocolatey, avoiding sweet, with a slightly leathery edge. For me, up there with the U Fleku classic as the best of the Czech dark lagers so far. JoeinDahlem (1597) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 24, 2016
Draft at the brewery pub. Only had a half-liter of this, but might have to leave this place with more. Bridges dark caramel and chocolate, light coffee, with just enough bitterness and body. Rich and flavorful, especially for its strength. I always think I want Svetly and then I drink a great Tmavý... MrOrla (3529) - Odense C, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2016
Tap. Pours Black with a tan head. Aroma of toffe, cream, roast, licorioce a hint of dried fruit. Maby a tad too old or not a perfect balanced. But stil decent.
