(bottle - 500 ml) Hazy amber pour with a thin white head. Odd aroma of semi-sweet malts and some grassy hops. Flavor is a bit odd as well. Overly bitter and slightly reminiscent of boiled vegetables. Not a fan. dogbomb (1258) - ENGLAND - APR 19, 2013
Cask. Very slight haze in light pale gold. Thin white, but steady head. Light fruity nose, berries - Strawberry, blackberry. More berry in the mouth, with some added bramble woodiness. Nettles. Grass. Strong bitter lemon finish. Beesbeer (450) - WALES - FEB 25, 2013
There is no doubt about the fact that this is a great session ale. A kind of American style hoppy bitter edge to every mouthful. Clean dry ending. Fruity aftertaste.
