tombyars (1702) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - NOV 15, 2016
Tasted this in the Salt Cot, Saltcoats (JDW) on the 6th October 2016. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong elderflower cordial notes in the light hoppy floral aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a light digestive biscuit base with sweet fruity notes of lychees and white grape. Light floral notes to the bitter hop resins give depth of flavour to the aftertaste. Finish is slightly malty but only just as sweet fruit flavours still linger in the palate. This is a nice refreshing Golden Ale, just perfect for the warm summer months.

theprof (1016) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2016
Cask. Aroma straw, and not surprisingly elderflower. Pours yellow gold thin top but strong initial lacing. The taste has melon and pineapple to the fore but with a crisp finish, and bitter languor. One for the summer beer garden
