Tap at Frisco. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is cookie and honey malt, fruity esters if pear and apple, pine and citrus hops. Flavor is sweet malt, moderate hops and carbonation with pear esters and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation. A little too sweet for my tastes. On tap at Frisco Tap House & Brewery in Columbia, MD.
Hazy, dark amber-copper with a khaki head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of citrus, pine and caramel.
Taste of citrus, pine, caramel and grass.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
Overall, a respectable IPA--nothing fancy, intense, complex or otherwise special, but a decent beer with true IPA character.
