This is an excellent beer, especially from Italy. The head lasts a long time and looks just like the picture. This is a crisp yet nice bodied beer with a hint of sweetness and a lasting taste after you swallow. This is a beer I could drink a lot of, but I only got two beers and two glasses when I was in Italy. On a side note, this brewer is located in Northern Italy and can offer you a good price on a lodge for rent for skiing or hiking near by the brewer, beautiful Alp mountains.

Aldrighetti (163) - Coltura, ITALY - NOV 29, 2003
Rocky white head, glass sticking, slowly disappearing. Clear sparkling body, straw yellow colour. Initial hoppy aroma, herbal, hay fragrance, then moderate malty (honey) and weak yeasty (dough). Very clean maltiness. Taste is initial sweet, honey-like, than hop turns protagonist, with a clear herbal taste. Weak toasted nut taste. Dry taste, light body, easy to drink. Really nice "Sudtiroler" beer!

Suggested by Lucca in the Salumerie off Corso Italia... Thanks to him. This is a really good beer of a style that is hard to find in Ontario. Very pale and an aroma that was herbal enough to remind me a bit of Frenet Branca (just a bit mind you...). Taste is a sweet maltiness, but the sweetness cuts out and nice bitter finish that ends cleanly follows. Sadly, I couldn’t fit a case of it in my bag to bring home.

Thanks to SkyCop32 for bringing this one back from Northern Italy. Pours a nice golden yellow color with a creamy two finger white head. Aroma is grassy, grainy with a scattering of hops. Taste is interestingly sweet with mild bitter at the end. Mouthfeel is full and a little creamy. This is a damn fine Hell.

SHIG (4963) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - MAY 24, 2009
Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with a huge white lacing head. Aroma is grassy, hops, and carboard. Taste is sweet clean grain, slight bitter finish to keep the taste buds thinking.

shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 21, 2011
Bottle (courtesy of Koelschtrinker). Barley malt and hay aroma. Slightly hazy pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Decent body. Nice hoppy Helles.

Dorqui (2259) - Brescia, ITALY - SEP 3, 2009
Bottled 0,33L. Shining yellow color, discreet fizzy and crisp and optimal head of good persistence. Dampen malty aroma, fresh grass, cereals and light alcoholic note. Balanced and bitter taste. Good body even if not much persistent one. Thanks to Nello for this one.

Ambro206 (362) - ITALY - OCT 17, 2014
Una birra comune, dignitosa. Componenti ben bilanciate, leggero aroma di luppoli nobili che danno una piacevole sensazione speziata al palato.

Mariusz (12067) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2012
Clear pale golden yellow. Quite hoppy and dry with a good malty base. Hints of walnut.

kappldav123 (6122) - GERMANY - AUG 28, 2013
Big thanks to Willems Urenkel for that beer. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. More and more moldy-soapy with some fruity hints. Mild finish. Okay.
