Bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Butter, grass, harsh skunky, grains, fruity. To much diacytel for me.

Bottle @ Bayreuth. Pours clear Pale piss yellow with a white head. Straw and grains and diacetyl butter beneath. I find the some note in their other beers. A shame.

500 ml Bottle on 22 Jan 2014 in the Weiss-Blau, Charlottenburg Berlin. The first beer in my second visit to this bottle shop/tasting room. Basic or classic German Pilsner: bright, golden, clean and clear. The head the usual snow white covering that doesn’t hang around too long. The aroma given off was of grains and a hint or two of grassy hops, indicating a slightly sweet flavour. The taste was on the sweeter side, this isn’t a dry, bitter Pilsner although it was still refreshing and crisp throughout. Nothing really special about this brew, just a well made beer in a style that is brewed everywhere: pleasant and easy to drink, glad I stumbled across it.

Ziemlich neutral-laff, leicht süßlich herb. Im Geruch eigenartig-undefinierbar. Irgendwie komisch…

8,6,5,5,7,5 - 5,55 - 15/9/13

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2011
From tap at the brewpub. It’s pearly, golden and has a creamy, white and lasting head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, fresh baked bread, biscuits, flower and fruit, and the finish is dry. It’s very, very nice pils in a perfect balance.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, clear, stable small lacy white head; grainy to strawy nose, moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft & creamy MF; mainly sweetish-malty finish with subtle traces of aromatic hops. Pleasant quality......
