Hazy amber with a bubbly head. Chewy aroma. Rich bitterness, toasty, chewy strong ale, kind of like imperial red light. reebtogi (6330) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 28, 2012
650ml bomber pours amber in color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and earth with caramel. Taste is a citrusy and earthy hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness working together in harmony to please the palate. A very nicely done amber ale that is begging to be sampled. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Bottle:   Gushed when I first opened, but doesn’t appear to be infected, just way over carbonated.   Deep amber, a little dirty, large foamy sand colored head, nice lacing.   Soft hop nose, a little citrusy, some smidgen of powdered sugar and pixie stix sweetness.   Resiny on the tongue, slight astringency on the backside.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Resiny finish.   Not a lot of depth, but tiz fairly clean.   Tiz okay, but needs to be a bit sweeter and perhaps brighter. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Not sure if this is an apa. Whatever. Not sending a correction too fucking lazy. Nose is of toast, some caramel, dank, fruity hops, a little citrus and floral notes. Pours auburn, nice off white head. Flavors of toasted malts, light caramel sweetness, dank, some citrus, pine, and floral notes as well. Medium bitterness in the finish. Pretty good. Reddish amber in color, clear with a thin head. The aroma is a mixed IPA hops with fruit and floral qualities. Love the malt backing roasty with a hint of biscuit. Very tasty brew with a nice dry finish. This brewery and brewer are only going to get better in time.
