Hazy. A mix of sweet fruit, spicy yeast, toasty malts, some earth. Medium bodied. Surprisingly complex for an introductory saison. Very nice Oakes (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
Fruity, phenolic, hazy blonde, nice biscuity pale malts, touch of fruity hop. Intro saison, light. reebtogi (6315) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 19, 2012
650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a large white head that retains quite well and eventually reveals some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity with some light cereal grains and yeast. Taste is fruity and malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness. Not as sour as most saisons that I have sampled and a little light in body. Carbonation is good and flavors are decently balanced. Very drinkable and recommended. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle: Deep hazy orange, huge fluffy white head, fairly nice lacing. Fruity nose, a little dusty, some melon and pale floral notes. Also a touch mealy. Dull floral and fruity notes up front, mealy, not as bright or fruity as the nose suggested. Somewhat comes across as an American Tripel (except for the cloying aspect or body). As a Saison its not very bright. Would to see some more floral spunk come through. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Finishes a little bland, light mealy/malty sweetness. Finish has a bit of clove and banana coming out as it warms. Not a bad beer, but not what I want in a Saison. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy burnished dark gold with a loose white head. Big banana nose, very hefeweizen like. A little grasspy spice there too. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet grass, banana, and caramel on the mid palate. Sweet sticky husky finish. Gets a little too estery to really be amazing. Less banana would help.

Dirty straw blonde, lightly carbonated, thick ring of head. Estery nose, phenolic, clove cigarette essence, wheaty, nice buzz to it. Phenolic nose, with an emphasis on the clove, but somewhat unbalanced, and a bit of wet cardboard oxidation. Medicinal, band-aid and tannic clove finish. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Belgian yeast esters up front, banana and clovey notes a little spicy, coriander, orange, wheat, and grain. Sweet fruity but not over the top. pours golden yellow orange, good head retention and lace. The flavor starts sweet with belgian yeast esters moves through some grain, wheat, oranges, citrus, black pepper, coriander, and a little bitter bite in the finish. Starts sweet but is not over the top like alot of american takes on the style. Nicely carbonated, good body. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 14, 2012
Gooldein color, light haze with a thin white lacy head. Good Belgian yeast aroma with a light lingering of malt. The flavor was filled with Fruit. The addition of several spices and herbs create a complex fruity or citrusy flavor. Dry finish this was a very tasty Saison.
