12 oz. bottle shared by Roger - thanks again! Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1999. Bottle 03934. Pours a clear amber color with a tiny off-white ring for a head. The aroma has a weird tang atop caramel and brown sugar and leaves. Flavor of dark fruit, caramel, brown sugar, and toast, with only the faintest bit of that tanginess from the nose. Taste from a bottle at phaleslu’s Weird Beers Tasting. Hazy light brown color. Mostly clear, some dark particles in there. Almost no head, minimal off-white ring and some bubbles. Loose dots of lace. Big dark fruit, vinous and oxidization in the aroma. Smells foreboding. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Big mustiness. Medium body. Very light carbonation. Drying finish. 1999 bottle... Brown pour wkgh no head. Malty, dark and some alcohol aromas. Sweet, oak, some oxidation tones.

(12oz bottle from Chickencoop). Pours dark brown with no carbonation or head. Aroma has raisin, port, some caramel and a little must. Taste is semi-sweet with vanilla and port. Another Rare treat from JohnGalt1 12oz Bottle pulled from a box. Pours out a dark brown with some red highlights topped with almost no head. Aroma was of pit fruit, brown sugar, oxidation, some wood, molasses, and rich malt. Taste was much as the aroma lots of sweetness, sad to say it has already peaked. But I was still very happy to try this.

Courtesy daknole. Pours clear amber with copper edges and really no head to speak of. The aroma is an odd mix of oxidation, soured moldy grapefruit covered with cigar ash and hints of the rich fruity esters way off in the background. The taste has molasses mixing with prunes and sugar stewed cherries. It then rolls into brown sugar toward the finish. There’s a moderate funky tart off-ness to it too.
