"Not a huge fan of this one. Not bad (no glaring faults) but nothing that stood out. I wanted either the honey or the bock base to be a little more assertive, but neither were. One timer here. Light, refreshing, bready, but all a little too restrained." beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Decent. Honey. Grain. Earth. Bread. Not super exciting. Not bad.. drinkable enough. I’d drink another. Beerdrinker79 (2188) - Idaho, USA - JUN 27, 2014
12 oz bottle- Pours hazy golden with a thin soapy white head that reduces quickly. Aroma is unidentifiable spices, thinking thyme or basil, muted honey, basic beer. The taste is similar, spices, the honey is there imparting a nice mellow creamy velvety texture, don’t get me wrong this is nothing special, i am just surprised that it is as decent as it is. poisoneddwarf (2620) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JUN 6, 2014
12 oz bottle from the Spring variety pack. Aroma is pretty muted, but there’s faint honey, floral notes, grain, generic beer. Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger white head with decent retention. Taste is much like a pale lager with a faint hint of honey sweetness. Forgettable. Second thoughts: this started to grow on me after a bit. The honey comes through more strongly after sitting about 10 minutes, making it go beyond the mostly pale lager it seemed to be at first. Also, a hoppy bitterness makes itself known in the finish. Much better than my first impressions. Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Appearance has a yellow golden color supporting a fair head dissipating easily and leaving nill lace. Smell of honey, lager yeast with a light hoppy aroma. Taste has the honey, graininess ending dry with a light hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation.

Bottle from the spring mixer. Nose has some honey in there, with a little bit of nuttiness and fruitiness coming through subtly. Taste is light and somewhat sweet, with more of the honey coming through. OK, but nothing interesting. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Pours a clear polished golden... very short lived white head... spotty lacing.
Nose is pretty standard clean maltiness... very light perfumy hoppiness... Perhaps some honey essence, but am not too sure.
Flavor has a more pronounced fermented out honey component that is put more in line by the residual pale malt.
Body is light/medium, but feels a bit heavier because the carbonation is pretty light.
Very clean... very drinkable... very boring unfortunately... but no real flaws. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle:   Golden with a slight fiery hue, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Malty and bready nose,
pale, also a bit nutty.   Smooth and sweet soft breadiness up front, honey is noticeable for sure.   Surprised how
smooth this was.   Moderate sweetness. &nbdp Average body and mouthfeel.   Soft bready finish, malty, slightly
chewy.   A lighter Heller Bock, not too heavy or overly sweet, but with a nice touch of honey you get half-way through
the beer. spacemonster (90) - Igo, California, USA - MAY 23, 2013
This is really a great great beer, sweet but not cloying. Just the ultimate summer thirst quencher. I want a keg of this shit. vvesside (256) - California, USA - APR 28, 2013
Not a bad beer. It’s got some good honey and clover flavors to it. Nothing special tho.
