Mixed pack with 12oz. bottles. Dark with a red tinge and a white head. Minimal aroma, touches of malt ... carmel? Toast/bread and ctirus with a really nice (sweet?) finish. Very nice limited release. Gem of the mixed 12-pack. AdamGott (386) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - FEB 19, 2013
slight red colored brown ale - aroma of malt and fruit - complex flavors of bread and light citrus. finishes with bread and light malt. Good. DMLINAZ (335) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Nice limited time offering from a solid brewery. Pours orange copper with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma is of malts, caramel, maybe some alcohol (not bad). Flavor: I enjoyed this one. Nice toasted malts, caramel, some mild smokiness. Long finish. geologyguy (1629) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - AUG 26, 2013
expired from bi-lo, nice smell, almost of ginger...but fairly mild...hints of wild/sour fermentation in the smell and taste...good!!...crisp carbonated finish with lingering sourness that is just right BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Dark reddish amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice malt Irish flavor. Decent amount of hops. Nice easy drinking Red Ale.

Limited edition beer. I’m trying it two days too late (after St. Patrick’s Day). Tasty. JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Off white head rises up to about a 1/2" and dies back immediately... the brew is clear deep copper/cherry wood....
Nose is clean dark toast... fermented out caramel essence.
Flavor mirrors the aroma with something that reminds me just a tiny bit of roasted malt... crisp and clean with just enough malt sweetness to make this crushable... medium/light body with light carbonation.
Pretty authentic... no diacetyl like many Continental brothers. Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Appearance has a dark ruby red color supporting a dissipating head leaving nil lace. Smell of the roasted malt upfront leaving the hops in the back. Taste of the roasted specialty malt with enough sweetness and hop to blend it. Mouthfeel is medium light with good carbonation. Not great, but a good Irish red. robforbes (2257) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2013
pours a semi-clear copper red with a small dirty white head, and a little lacing.
smell is of caramel, malt, some spice, and a touch of fruit.
taste is of caramel, some hops, roasted malt, and slight amount of citrus. ends a little tangy. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Deep amber, slightly dull from some sediment, large frothy sandy head, little lacing.   Soft pine and pith nose.   Has a slight rye aspect?   Sweet bready malts, almost whole wheat, with some sweet citrus
peel and pith.   Not what I was expecting for an Irish Ale.   Backside seems a little peaty.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Moderate breadiness on the finish, touch of caramel, mild peat, pale toasted malts, with
soft citrus peel and pith bitterness.   Not bad, but pretty pedestrian.
