Aroma is mainly caramel malt, with some hints of hops. Flavor is very malty, caramel and toffee. Hops come through a bit in the end. Mouthfeel is sticky and clings to the palate. Its an average autumn-type brew, although it may have a better taste when it is fresher. RichJ7 (1175) - Cullman, Alabama, USA - FEB 21, 2009
Amber pour with a small white head. Malty nose. Flavor is malty, lightly sweet and smooth. Not bad, but rather unremarkable. DTM (798) - Winters, California, USA - FEB 20, 2009
Bottle from the Co-Op in Davis, CA. Poured an amber color with little to no head. Tasted of carmel malt flavors with little no hops. Very thin on the palate with somewhat of metallic finish. Could have been much better. Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - FEB 12, 2009
bottle, A ruity peach aroma peasent along with some aluinum. Amber body with offf white head. Has some fruity fflavor but that is overpowered by a thicker malt presence. Filling brew don’t think this would be a good yark work beer for me. ndubs360 (114) - portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 6, 2009
Bottle. Poured a clear amber color witha small white head. no lacing on the glass. Aroma is overpowered by yeast and malt. no hop presense whatsoever which is what i look for in a good amber ale. Not much here, a dry, unimpressive aftertaste. over carbonated.

12 oz bottle purchased at Woody’s in Cool Springs. Poured a clear amber/red color with a two finger white head. The aroma wasn’t much. Sweet malt and yeast. The flavor was actually enjoyable. There was a sourness present, along with some caramel and sweet malt. This was an enjoyable brew. Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 13, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours an off-white head with a hazy, amber colored body. Smells like biscuits and honey. Tastes sour and metallic. pintbypint (3641) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 27, 2008
650ml brown bottle. An hazy orangey brown coloured beer with a thin but creamy head. Aroma is fairly straightforward caramel malt. Flavour is also of caramel malt, finishes with some leafy hops. Light bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Drinkable, decent amber ale. popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 22, 2008
An amber ale with a good malt flavor and an unfortunate tinny undertone. The beer pours an alright color for an amber. The head puffs up quickly but dissipates very quickly. The smell is sweet with malt, but a tinny note rears its ugly head. The flavor is similar with an overly sweet maltiness. Hops are present in flavor and taste but rather anemic ultimately, and the sweet malt drowns them out largely for the tongue. The feel is better than it was for Pyramid Apricot Ale, my only other stab at Pyramid that I wrote notes for. The carbonation is still not quite right, but not bad either. It is fairly drinkable and would be even more so if not for the tinniness. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 8, 2008
pours an amber-copper colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is dusty malt, light fruit, wheat cracker tones.
Thin and flatish palate, biscuity malt and semi-sweet malt body.
