12-oz. bottle into a pint glass at my house on Oct. 5, 2012 (purchased at BevMo in La Mesa (San Diego, Calif.) as part of a winter variety 12-pack for $15.99 (with card) on Oct. 5, 2012). Cloudy, straw with two fingers of bubbly khaki head. Average-to-below average retention on the top, good on the sides.
Smelled a sharp whiff of peach right away, then warm tea. Also some orange, grass, wheat, butter and a bit of pear. Really liked it.
Tasted pretty close to the nose with peach and warm tea leading the way once again. My wife tells me this tea is Chai, which makes sense I suppose. Also orange, butter, wheat grass and still that slight bit of pear.
Light-to-medium body. Creamy texture. Above average carbonation. Long, astringent, buttery finish.
I was pleasantly surprised with this beer. Tasted nice with the fruit/tea elements. A good change from the usual wheat beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark golden color with an OK white head. Nice, wheat aroma with a hint of berries and some spice. Smooth taste with some malt and spice. Hint of blueberries in the flavor as well. Interesting beer. Oscbert (1304) - Lincoln, California, USA - NOV 6, 2012
~Fruity melon berry like aroma with some chai spiciness and bready wheat. Refreshing aroma.
~Pours a hazy gold with disappearing white head.
~Spicy chai flavor with some sweet frutiness. Bready wheat.
~light bodied, high CO2, spicy chai finish.
~This is a very refreshing wheat beer. I really like the flavors that the chai brings. Like a spicy berry flavor. Very good. Would love to have a case of this in the hot summer days. smaynard6000 (1167) - Apopka, Florida, USA - NOV 27, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with a small frothy white head. Looks much like a hefeweizen. Sweet aroma with unfamiliar spices, probably chai tea. Sweet fruity flavor with grain notes. Slight amount of bitterness in the finish. Decent. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Bottle, cloudy off white color. Strong chai nose. Taste is sweet, messy and not chai or beer. Drinkable, but just barely.

I got this from a friend who bought it from a store that carries mostly “out-dated” beer. This pours a murky, dirty orange color with a foamy, off-white head. There is mostly the aroma of oranges mixed with spice. The taste is a little unusual as I have never had chai flavored beer before. It’s a heavier wheat beer with fairly bold spices. It leaves a lingering after taste that invites you to take another sip. Not to bad overall. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Poured from the winter pack. Aroma is very intense of spice, like tea. Flavor is also dominated by the spice. I guess a basic wheat is a good canvas. This beer is interesting. Burps up with less spices which is nice. GuilTTy (733) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Bottle from the Winter sampler. Hazy light auburn pour supporting a short, rich and soft white head. Good lacing. Mildly spicy aroma. Chai note apparent once you seek it out. Modest malt up front with some spicy and herbal warmth giving this brew a nice complexity without overpowering the flavor. Restrained hops. Some lemon zest and a touch of milk chocolate. Rich, silky texture and a medium long and smooth finish.
I was afraid the chai would come across as forced and gimmicky but it was nicely executed. A pleasant surprise. trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of wheat, spices and tea. Tastes of wheat, chai tea and a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with good carbonation. Overall the wheat mixed with chai tea ended up working well, pretty tasty. AdamGott (386) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - NOV 10, 2012
armoa of chai and sour wheat, pour is a hazy light brown with medium lacy head, taste is of chai spices and bread with a lingering bit of both
