Inspired by European tradition, Coastline is brewed locally in the Pacific coast using the finest Northwest ingredients. The result is a beer as fresh, crisp and clean as a day at the ocean.

Bottled. Hazy golden. Lightly grassy with hard crystal malt character and medium bitterness. An uninspired lager.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 2, 2003
Hazy golden with small dissipating off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, fruity (berry), light toffee, light grassy. Taste is mildly sweet and malty up top, lightly toasty, some apricot fruitiness, before finishing with a combination of grassy/earthy bitter and fruity sweet. Also some toffee as it warms. Medium body, fairly acidic/carbonated, though not especially crisp.

pretty clean and crisp. nothing special, but it’s definitely drinkable and enjoyable under the right circumstances. not good enough to buy off the shelf, though."

Very pale, sparkling clear, straw-colored lager. Small, fizzy, quickly dissipating head. The aroma is bisquity and chicken brothy. A tad floral. Well- bittered for a pilsner. Lightly citrusy with a touch of honey. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, clean finish. I’d continue to pass on this one while at the beer market.

DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 27, 2004
Pours dark gold with a big white fizzy head. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt. Tastes hoppy, malty, with some citrus at the finish. Medium palate. Medium to light palate, with a smooth, crisp finish. I think this one is very underrated.

bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 29, 2004
Bottle. Pale golden beer with a big white head. Slightly bready aroma with a touch of lemon. Grassy flavor with some metallic overtones that leaves a bready taste lingering. Highly carbonated.

3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 23, 2003
smells soapy, like old, wet vegetables and rotten socks. somewhat crisp flavors of rye, grass and straw mixed with a small tone of citrus.

PorterPounder (8290) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2003
Had on tap at the Pyramid Alehouse across the street from Safeco after the Mariners game. Has a light golden appearance with just a little bit of head. The aroma has a bit of a sweet honeyness to it. Very refreshing light hoppy flavor with some undelying honey sweetness. Good solid moutfeel. Good domestic Pils.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 5, 2004
on tap at the pyramid alehouse. it’s probably pretty generous to call this bland pale lager a pilsener. oh well. limp sweet and lemony

Ernest (7822) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 18, 2003
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, moderate density of tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic. Dirty metallic flavor kills another Pyramid beer.
