Golden, sparkling. Slightly fruity, slightly wheaty. Clean and somewhat refreshing. Typical for the style in that it lacks yeast complexity or interesting malt notes. Achieving emptiness should be the purview of depressed goth kids not brewers.
on tap-pours a thin white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is mild medium malt/grain-some note of sweetness. Taste is mild medium malt/grain-some note of sweetness, hint of coriander/spice –hops. Light body. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 7, 2007
Draft at the Safeco Field brewpub. Pours crystal clear light coppery amber with a thin off-white head and plenty of lace. Neutral, maybe bready, sweaty nose. Tingly and light on the attack. Mid-palate is fairly neutral, maybe some toast and some corn sweetness. jhumphries69 (1034) - Tyrone, Georgia, USA - AUG 8, 2007
Pours a clear gold with a thin white head that fades quickly. The aroma has some wheat and some characteristic fruit (hints of spiced bananas). But it also has some earthy, almost grassy, aromas. The flavor follows the nose: wheaty, malty, and spicy. But by the middle of the tongue the grassy, bitter flavors become too strong - it could be oxidation as it causes the beer to taste a bit stale. The finish is dry and crisp with light dose of hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is a bit too high in carbonation (I know this style is supposed to be heavily carbonated, but the body of the beer is virtually undetectable due to the sting of carbon dioxide). Overall, one of my least favorite brews in the sampler at the Pyramid Alehouse in Seattle. dwyerpg (6180) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 1, 2007
An alright aroma. A light crisp flavor that isn’t too wheaty and has a little hop bite in the finish. A pretty nice beer.

Light and spicy wheat beer, much better then their hefe in my book. Pours light gold with a smooth white head. Slight haze to it. Citrus and banana aroma. Very crisp and refreshing on the palate, feels like high carbonation that brings the spices to life with a subtle honey and bready flavored malt base. I really enjoyed this one as a summer beer. 10 ounce sample tried at Sacramento, CA location. Spicy, floral, aromatic, lemony, lightly sweet aroma. A bit metallic as well. Decent aroma, but not really characteristic of a weizen. Transparent golden body with a small, white head. Sweet, biscuity, cereal-like malt flavors to start with some light, husky, wheat-like flavors in the middle. Finishes with some citrus lemon flavors. Rather uneventful and pretty straight-forward. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 18, 2007
Draft at Pyramid Alehouse in Walnut Creek, CA. Poured a clear golden color. Head was white and left some good lace. Aroma and flavor were of weak banana and clove with fresh malty cereal grain. So so.
