Draft at the alehouse in Walnut Creek. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet and malty - I don’t pick up any wheat. The flavor is sweet and mostly malty, but towards the finish a light wheat note appears and makes the finish dry with just a hint of citrus fruits. Forgettable. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2009
Orange bodied with a thick fizzy off white head. Aroma is mild lemon, light spice, sweet maltiness. Taste is off, slight souring, not in a good way, lemony, bit of finishing spiciness. jb43 (1695) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 17, 2009
(bottle). Pours a cloudy gold color. Spare fizzy white head. Wheat aroma with light lemon. Avg duration. Thin texture. Spare lacing. Slightly astringent finish. Soft carbonation. Gregis (1291) - Stilwell, Kansas, USA - JUN 17, 2009
Pours a nearly-clear gold with a finger of frothy white head that quickly diminishes to a thin cap with some patchy lace left in its wake. The nose is of dusty wheat and a solid, doughy yeast note backed by lighter notes of honey and bubble gum. Light-bodied. without being thin. it possesses a slick mouthfeel which transitions to a mildly sour finish. A departure from the nose, the flavor shares the same dusty wheat character but lacks the sweeter notes that make the nose somewhat pleasant. Light and slightly fruity, it’s a decent wheat, but short of someone handing a bottle to me on a hot summer day, I can’t see myself drinking this again. Not too bad of a beer. It was definitely light and refreshing and would be best on a hot summer day.

Draft from the brewery. My bartender told me this was basically a filtered version of the Hefeweisen, and that’s basically what it was. Slightly watered down appearance. Slightly watered down aroma of citrus. Slightly watered down flavors of lemon and citrus. Overall, well you get the drift... DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Deep gold pour with off-white head. Hopcit and pale malt in the nose and taset, with apricoty fruit in the flavor as well, but the balance falls off late. Not bad, but not that great either. This one started very apricotty fruity for me, and trailed bitter late, which seems to be the consensus here. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - MAY 18, 2009
2009 Peoria International Beer Fest. Pours a clear golden color with medium head. Aroma is a light wheat and lemon. Flavor starts off wheaty with a little sweetness and a light sourness to end. Overall it was bit clear and flavorless for my tasting preferences. aguyintx66 (90) - Nixa, Missouri, USA - MAY 2, 2009
Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma honey and wheat. Taste is slightly sweet with a hint of grass. Finishes slightly bitter. lb4lb (2628) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 12, 2009
Pours golden with a small white head. Smell is dull, wheat, cardboard and faint sweetness. Taste is fairly bland with some wheaty dullness, light dry honey flavors and crisp bitterness. Medium to thin body and crisp carbonation. Clean-ish with a light muskiness to it. Decent.
