pale, thin with a medium head. Slightly grassy, but a very thin body with little maltiness. hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 30, 2003
I didn't enjoy this ale at all. Almost no color... very light straw. The frothy, everlasting, white head is the best thing this brew has going for it... and head is ancillary at best.
Smells like a cheap American standard with a little spice thrown in.
Flavorless... not offensive, at least. Well-balanced, but so is Evian.
Light-bodied and fizzy.
Don't bother with this one.

Dark yellow in color with a tiny white head. Has a barley wheat aroma. Taste grainy. GreatStelle (363) - Chico, California, USA - JUL 24, 2003
I only ordered this beer becuase I got a free glass at the brewery. It was light in flavor with citrus overtones. It lacked any good charachteristics. Unless you get a glass don't bother. sloth (2910) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - JUL 13, 2003
Clean white head, quickly fading. Light gold color, slightly hazey. Kinda malty, somewhat spicey nose. Light body, malty, corny flavor. Seems stale also? Kinda pastey. Yer outta here!

Started off sweet and thicker than their pilsner. Finish was on the bitter side and leaning towards unpleasant. When drinking something of this style, I look for refreshment - I was not quenched nor refreshed - I was more aggrivated, actually. egajdzis (6624) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 29, 2003
Golden color with a white head, no lacing. Hoppy citrusy aroma. Bitter taste with some slight hoppiness. microdyke (360) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 22, 2003
A clear golden color with a whithe head. The aroma is of citrus and sweet honey. The flavor has some hoppiness to it with sweet honey and some bitterness that lingers. Steib (613) - Queen Creek, Arizona, USA - JUN 19, 2003
Head dissipates quickly. A little hoppy, highly carbonated. Starts out dry them moves to a semi-sweet aftertaste. A friendly medium bodied palate, somewhat thin. Played very safe. Still this curve ball is in the dirt. kujo9 (1095) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2003
Lasting white head atop a gold body. Sweetly malty grain aroma and very clean of most fruitiness and just a hint of hoppy floral hop aroma. Grainy maltiness starts sweet then moves to well balanced and finishes dry with a light hop flavor and aftertaste. No fruitiness and pretty clean like a good Kolsch should be. Lighter body and subdued carbonated with a nice smoothness. Overall pretty good representation of the style, not a lot of complexity, just a good balance of hops and malt makes this a very good, easy drinking session beer for summer quaffing.
