Had it at the Pyramid alehouse in sacramento. Not much to it, just a blah beer

2.6
degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Poured from bottle. Not much nose on this at all -- what there is is pretty typical citrusy hop. Color is gold-orange with some head and lace. Relatively clean taste -- pretty neutral, actually, for something that’s supposed to be an APA. Just not much there to it.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Bottle.
Pours a boring, yellow-food-coloring-in-a-glass-of-water yellow with an aroma of bready orange juice, bready grapefruit, and a touch of sweet perfume. Flavor is a bready grapefruit that tries to be assertive but falls short. Average mouthfeel. Not a great beer but I think it’s better than the overall percentile indicates.

Sledutah (7893) - Utah, USA - JUN 7, 2010
12oz bottle from the state store

Appearance: Pours clear yellow/amber with a nice white head and some lacing

Aroma: Pale malts, spices honey and citrus

Taste: Biscuit, caramel, sweet malts and some hop bitterness in the finish

So, so!

My daughter just walked in and asked "what does Fling have to do with bicycles?". Good question, kids say the darndest things!

GKillian (525) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 5, 2010
Hazy light amber, off-white head, some lacing. Citrus, yeast aromas, similar to a witbier. Definitely tastes like a pale ale, though, with some bitterness on the back end. Crisp.

2.9
douglas88 (9690) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 29, 2010
12 ounce bottle from the Utah State Store. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head and some lacing. A sweet biscuit and honey nose. A full palate; rich toasted malts, sweet honey, smooth and light. Not much in terms of hops. Decent.

2.9
bubbleflubber (2241) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2010
Pours golden into the glass, with a sudsy head that reduces to the tiniest of ring laces. The nose is of light dough... and I swear I pick up cinnamon. Flavors are of pale malts, grains and decent crisp bitters to finish. The mouthfeel is lively, but nothing stands out about this to me. It’s well put-together, but a tad boring. All of the aspects of an APA are technically "there", it just doesn’t set itself apart from any other in the APA pack of offerings.

2.9
sandberglar (148) - Scottsdale, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Clear golden with a small white head. Not much of a nose, has a fruity/doughy smell. A nice initial bitterness followed by a malty finish. A decent Pale.

3.2
Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2010
Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Orland Park, Illinois: This poured a clear golden boy with a frothy white head that pasted lace on the glass. The aroma was fruity with tart peaches and tangerines. The flavor has a light grainy malt and fruity hops followed by a stab of bitterness. Okay.

2.8
bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2010
(12oz bottle, courtesy of Swalden28) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, subtle vanilla, and light cola. Flavor of caramel, orange, herbs, and grass.
