12 oz. bottle- Pours golden with average lacing and head, aroma is fruity and appealing. The flavor is mellow orange peel and peach and has a mild hoppiness. Nothing special but very drinkable, I could drink and drink this stuff. MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 14, 2010
From Pt Roberts Marketplace. Poured a clear, dark gold paired with a creamy white head. Aroma was mildly hopped. Flavour, mouth, and finish were better than I’d expected from an APA (decent bitterness), but this IS a fairly good brewery. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Honey-colored pale golden copper. It pours with a small white head to small to impress. It does, at least, lace ok. The aroma is a little nutly and has heavy malt and clean water. The flavor starts with strong barley and then explodes with bitter hops. Somehow the palate is smooth, despite all that bitterness. Good carb bite. A little too sweet on the finish and sme what congestive finish. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2010
Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange golden with a medium creamy off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a earthy hops and floral. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hops with citrus and a nice crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good American pale ale from Pyramid. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - JAN 17, 2010
Nice clear golden with a fizzy white head. Faint malty aroma but a decent orange taste with a crisp bready finish.

2010 Bottle - Pours clear golden with a small white head...aroma is grainy caramel with some light citric florals...flavour is similar, cereal graniness, light malt, with a lingering citrus oil pithy bitterness...actually pretty tasty... cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - MAR 3, 2010

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Light pine and grapefruit aroma. Piney, earthy flavor with some grapefruit and sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Pine and earth lingers with sweet malt. poisoneddwarf (2646) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - MAR 14, 2010
12 oz bottle into Trappist glass (kind of like serving MacDonald’s on a silver platter, I know, but I had no other glassware available). Aroma is pine, mango, floral. Pours hazy orange with a small head and sticky lacing. This is a very non-traditional APA. It’s more fruity and floral tasting than hoppy. Not nearly as bitter as most examples of this style. Carbonation is average, and so is this beer overall. It’s different, but it’s still nothing to write home about. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Bottle; poured a ruddy amber color with an average off white head. Aroma of fruit and earth, with a bit of bread. Not a great aroma, but pretty aromatic for the style. Flavor was a bit unrefined and not really great, but at least it was assertive for the style and better than expected. Earthy and a touch fruity, with some yeast and mineral elements. For the style it was good.
