Dark amber and hazy. Thin head. Big chewy nose, and on the palate it’s really only a little bit less chewy. Bitter but also quite sweet and some alcohol in the finish. Old school IIPA, but today just seems dated. beerplace (1691) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017
650ml bottle at Alex’s. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is caramely, candies, candied citruses. Same quite sweet and candy taste. Quite good. Ferris (15265) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017

I put the glass up to the lips .. .resin and citrus, bitter rind .. . Mouth is pretyy good, the abv is very well done .. . Finish is pretty good, feels like a computer game from the 80’s .. . . Lets take a look at day 1 bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 28, 2016
Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and sweet malt aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with spice. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Spice and grapefruit linger with pin and light sweet malt.

Bomber from the Portland CostCo in Happy Valley. Pours golden copper with a beige head. Aroma is floral and fruit - maybe even some tropicals. Med + body or better. It is very hoppy. The malt is roasty and the hop is fruit, and definitely includes tropicals. I might call dank, if the malt wasn’t so pervasive. It’s a hoppy monster, and quite bitter, but not in a biting way. A little hopburn tho. Impressive amount of ingredients. luttonm (6271) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Bottle in Seattle. Rosy mahogany orange, creamy off-white head. Aroma of bitter, resiny hops. Slightly unfiltered appearance but it feels much chalkier and rough on the palate. Tons of resin, deep juice and rounding fruit acid and bitterness. Julie says pineapple on my breath, I can’t argue. Doesn’t work well for me, a bit too cloying and rough. Alc is well balanced and it isn’t unpleasant. tightslice (1307) - Redwood City, California, USA - JUN 10, 2016
Bottle from Safeway in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is caramel, pine candy, some dirty earthiness. Taste is caramel and earthy hops. Reminded me more of an Amber Ale and less of an IIPA. Reid (2536) - Salem, Oregon, USA - MAY 16, 2016
22 oz bottle bought from a local convenience store.
Hazy darker golden body with a lovely creamy and thick eggshell white head.
Aromas are of fruity, floral hops. papaya, mango, sweet cherry and flowers.
Taste is similar to the aroma..but less sweet, balanced by a chunky caramel malts and a drying alcohol presence , which helps the tsste this time and does not detract.
Nice medium mouth feel which gets sweet near the end but is not cloying.
Very nice IIPA from Pyramid of all people. Drinkable despite the high alc volume. donandres (527) - Bayombong, PHILIPPINES - NOV 9, 2015
