Bright amber color. Caramel based beer, malty, sweet, almost more Barley Wine than IIPA, good but not what is expected as IIPA.
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy bright orange with a small beige head. Aroma is super fruity, with loads of tropical fruits, oranges, resinous hops and big malt body. Flavour is immensely fruity and fresh, with loads of tropical fruits, resinous hops and caramel malt. Amazing depth to this, with loads of fruitiness and big malts that never cloy. Excellent beer from Pyramid. Oakes (19549) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 11, 2017
Dark amber and hazy. Thin head. Big chewy nose, and on the palate it’s really only a little bit less chewy. Bitter but also quite sweet and some alcohol in the finish. Old school IIPA, but today just seems dated. Ferris (17776) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017
Bottle - Intense caramel and some orange.m clearish copper with a decent white head. Lots of caramel and some o ange bitterness. bhensonb (16110) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 6, 2016
Bomber from the Portland CostCo in Happy Valley. Pours golden copper with a beige head. Aroma is floral and fruit - maybe even some tropicals. Med + body or better. It is very hoppy. The malt is roasty and the hop is fruit, and definitely includes tropicals. I might call dank, if the malt wasn’t so pervasive. It’s a hoppy monster, and quite bitter, but not in a biting way. A little hopburn tho. Impressive amount of ingredients.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and sweet malt aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with spice. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Spice and grapefruit linger with pin and light sweet malt. douglas88 (9828) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 30, 2015
Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a small white head. A big sweet resiny citrus hop nose. Rich, oranges, resin, big bitterness, orange peel. The malty background is big making this more like a super hoppy barley wine. Very good. BuckeyeBoy (9216) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 23, 2015
22oz bottle pours out a dark amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice caramel sweetness citrus and pine hops. Taste is more of the caramel sweetness citrus hops pine and a nice rich malt to help hold it together. SudsMcDuff (8551) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - SEP 17, 2016
I put the glass up to the lips .. .resin and citrus, bitter rind .. . Mouth is pretyy good, the abv is very well done .. . Finish is pretty good, feels like a computer game from the 80’s .. . . Lets take a look at day 1 luttonm (7076) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Bottle in Seattle. Rosy mahogany orange, creamy off-white head. Aroma of bitter, resiny hops. Slightly unfiltered appearance but it feels much chalkier and rough on the palate. Tons of resin, deep juice and rounding fruit acid and bitterness. Julie says pineapple on my breath, I can’t argue. Doesn’t work well for me, a bit too cloying and rough. Alc is well balanced and it isn’t unpleasant.
