Golden-orange with a small head. Has a light hefeweien quality, but not up to central European standards it is modelled on. Slightly thin but easy to drink.

COMRADEJOSH (320) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Slightly musty or bread aroma good cloudy golden appearance. A sweet malty taste with hints of citrus where a German hefe would have the banana but a good solid hefeweizen nonetheless.

355ml bottle into a weizen glass; served cold. Aroma: Sour and yeasty. A little citrus, like tangerine or mandarins. Appearance: Very hazy, opaque, sunburst body with a quickly-dissipating white head. Taste: Very very strong wheat flavor. No spice or fruit like a witbier, but also no cloves or banana or other typical hefe flavors. The hefeweizen label was somewhat misleading, but it is still tasty. Palate: Light-medium body with moderate-high effervescence. Finish is moderately long and alllllllllllllllll wheat. Overall: A good one for sure. Surprised! Simple, straightforward, and satisfying.

chuckstout (336) - Washington, USA - DEC 13, 2013
Slight lemony sweetness, grainy, pours a straw color with a touch of orange, cloudy with low head retention great lacing. Smooth and creamy to a tang bite at the end. Grassy, grainy, good carbonation some sweetness

Misses the mark for this German style of wheat beer by a mile. Aroma: Wheaty graininess, low spiciness. Very much missing the rich, strong banana esters and clove phenols that define this style. Appearance: Slightly hazy medium gold. Low loosely formed white head dissipates immediately. Wrong for style - a good hefeweizen has a creamy, long lasting big head - - wheat does that (usually). Taste: Again, totally lacking the yeast-derived complexity of banana/clove/etc., dominated by bland bready wheat flavor. Faint lemon. Low bitterness. Moderate malt sweetness. Palate: Finish is fairly dry. Carbonation moderate. Should be high to ’spritzy’ for a hefeweizen. Medium light body. Overall: A 2-dimensional cardboard cutout of a typically rich, interesting style (tastes only slightly better than cardboard, as well).
