Aroma is not very pleasant. Flavor very light and boring with a citrusy, tangy finish. Have to drink this one in a glass or it"s undrinkable. I"m not sure what they did to get the head in the picture, but in my galss it"s non-existent.

I much prefer the wheaten, this seemed rather unexciting....................

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2007 [rerate needed] Murky orange/yellow, darker than most comparable wheats. Smell of a typical american hefeweizen, very yeasty with citrus. Very smooth in the mouth, with emphasis on orange and lemon, and mid-drink it turns to very sweet and syrupy. Finish is like sucking on candy, very moist and syrupy. It reminds me of drinking orange juice or lemon tea.

This one had a nice smooth wheat feel (body)and clean finish. The color is great. Even a slightly sweet middle taste. A good session beer.

Not the best wheat by far. maybe I tried too many German wheats before hitting this one... Had a funny taste that I couldn't place, other than that a very run-of-the-mill hefe-weizen. Nothing distinguishing or notable about this brew.

Smells very wheaty with a beautiful unfiltered golden hue. It had a very citrus flavor followed by slight hoppy flavor. Overall a pretty good wheat.

Well nt my style, but what can you do with an extra week off, orange color, yeasty, some citrus, not that much here

Golden cloudy color. Initial odor of rising bread fades quickly. Slightly sour citrus flavor.

Not bad. Considering this is West Coast, it's definitely not bad. Smells and tastes of a citrus and wheat mix. Strong towards lemon but leaning towards orange. Not too spicy or floral. Gladly it's not overloaded with hops. Worth trying. Got it as a gift along with some other beers. Not bad at all.

jskendzel (602) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 28, 2002
Slightly cloudy, little head. Spices present but no asserted well enough--rather a dull profile that seems watered down. Fruits, a little. Vinegar and astringent notes in my glass.
